Check out this exciting role in Hawaii supporting the Missile Defense Agency's Command Control Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC) Program.

Primary responsibility is as a Systems Administrator overseeing such platforms as Red Hat Linux (RHEL), Microsoft, Juniper, and other industry standard systems.

This role's key function is to learn and then oversee the Mission-Specific Vendor Plug-in (MSVP) training Functionality for the C2BMC Program's Pacific Command (PACOM) operations.

Perform other duties and assignments as the need arises.

    Basic Qualifications:
    *Must currently hold and active DoD Secret Security Clearance and a Security+ IAT Level II Certificate to be considered for this position*

    • Knowledge and background in Networking (Firewalls, Juniper, etc.) and/or Systems Experience (RHEL, VMWare, Active Directory) for large-scale Classified DoD Architectures
      • Hands-on Administration of systems operations and maintenance of large scale DoD Networks leveraging various ticketing platforms to track Problem Reports and Service Requests
        • Effective communications and ability to brief technical system/network issues and overall system reporting to program management and customer leadership using appropriate tools such as Microsoft Visio and PowerPoint
          • Must be a self-starting problem solver with the ability to work with military and civilian personnel in a potential high stress situation with limited supervisionDesired Skills:
            • Top Secret Clearance with SSBI
            • Understanding of Department of Defense Command Structure
            • C2BMC or other Missile Defense Agency operational background
            • Ability to manage multiple projects/activities, interacting and coordinating with various intra/inter Missile Defense Agency related organizations.
            • DOD Security Best Practices for networks as governed buy 8570 regulations
            • Tape Backup and Data Storage Operations
            • Privilege Access Procedures experience and Security Token Management
            • Nessus Security Scanning Process and System Patching backgroundBASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
