Job Purpose:The Counter Sales Representative is dedicated to
building strong customer relationships and providing exceptional
service by leveraging industry expertise to meet client needs. This
role ensures accurate communication and efficient order processing
while supporting team objectives and maintaining an organized
inventory system.
We are looking for a Counter Sales Representative with some or all
of the following:
- Prior experience delivering exceptional customer service in a
fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated success in sales or a passion for building
relationships and achieving targets.
- Natural aptitude for understanding mechanical concepts and
problem-solving.
- Familiarity with fluid power systems is a bonus, but not
required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel,
and Office 365
- Comfortable utilizing and troubleshooting common office
equipment such as printers and copiers.
- Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to thrive while
working independently.
- Strong prioritization skills, capable of efficiently completing
tasks in a timely manner.
- Meticulous attention to detail with outstanding organizational
abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, adept at
conveying information effectively
The Counter Sales Representative will be responsible for:
- Cultivates and nurtures relationships with prospective and
current customers
- Utilizes industry expertise and product knowledge to align
products with client requirements
- Addresses client inquiries regarding product details,
applications, and industry trends
- Delivers accurate information, quotes, and bid specifications
to clients
- Collaborates seamlessly with purchasing departments, managers,
and cross-functional teams to ensure precise and streamlined order
processing
- Efficiently manages multiple projects simultaneously
- Embraces additional assigned responsibilities to support team
objectives
