ResponsibilitiesPeraton requires an IT Specialist to support the Special Operation Command Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) - 3.This position is located at Camp Smith, HI.The purpose of the SITEC 3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance (EOM) Task Order is to provide USSOCOM and its associated commands with Operations and Maintenance services, including Network Operations (NetOps), system and network infrastructure maintenance, end-user support, configuration management, training, and IMAC services. The role is critical to supporting USSOCOM's global operations 24/7.The IT Specialist performs tier one and two network support, administering network and communication systems, troubleshooting, and ensuring network performance and compliance. Responsibilities include creating monitoring reports, managing logs, coordinating with the networking team, preparing technical plans, and supporting full lifecycle management of LAN/WAN infrastructures.Duties include but are not limited to:

• Installing, testing, monitoring, upgrading, and managing WAN and LAN hardware and software.
• Designing, configuring, and maintaining LAN/WAN capabilities, circuits, and security devices.
• Managing VLAN architectures and wireless LANs.
• Provisioning and monitoring VPN services, troubleshooting network issues, and implementing access controls.
• Collaborating with external providers and supporting network exercises.QualificationsRequired:
  • TS/SCI or higher clearance.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience with a BS/BA degree; or equivalent experience.
  • DoDD 01-M IAT II certification.Desired:
