Job Description:
UAS Systems Engineer The Opportunity: As a UAS Systems Engineer,
you will operate at the intersection of air systems, tactical
networks, edge compute, and AI-driven data platforms. You will
architect and integrate UAS systems into tactical networks and
modern data-layer ecosystems. You will enable military units to
move from disconnected sensor feeds to integrated operational
awareness by bridging UAS platforms with TAK ecosystems and
AI-enabled platforms like Maven Smart Systems. You will ensure
sensor data from UAS platforms flows securely from the edge to
enterprise environments, enabling real-time targeting, ISR fusion,
and multi-domain decision advantage. You will know how to design
edge-to-enterprise data pipelines, and you will have the ability to
translate operational targeting workflows into technical data

experience in systems engineering, tactical networks, and UAS
integration Experience supporting military exercises or operational
deployments Experience integrating UAS feeds into TAK server
ecosystems and tactical COP environments Knowledge of API
integration and data pipeline concepts Knowledge of edge computing
platforms and containerized deployments Knowledge of IP networking,
routing, switching, VPNs, and secure enclaves Ability to obtain a
Secret clearance HS diploma or GED Nice If You Have: Experience
designing end-to-end UAS architectures, including air vehicle,
payloads, data links, GCS, and edge nodes Experience integrating
ISR systems or FMV into operational networks Experience engineering
secure RF, SATCOM, MANET, and LTE/5G transport solutions Experience
architecting resilient communications for contested, degraded, and
operationally limited (CDO) environments Experience integrating
full-motion video (FMV), telemetry, and sensor metadata into TAK
environments Experience designing data transformation pipelines to
move UAS ISR data into enterprise AI systems Experience building
API-based integrations between tactical systems and modern data
platforms TS/SCI clearance Clearance: Applicants selected will be
subject to a security investigation and may need to meet

determined by various factors, including but not limited to
location, the individual’s particular combination of education,
knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as
contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.
The projected compensation range for this position is $86,900.00 to
$198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the
typical salary range for this position and is just one component of
Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting
