Job Description:
A company is looking for a Commercial Counsel to join their
Legal team.
Key Responsibilities
Review, draft, and negotiate a variety of commercial contracts for
go-to-market teams
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align contracts with
business objectives and mitigate risks
Assist in creating deal enablement tools and partner with the Legal
team on key projects
Required Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and admission to at
least one state bar
2-3 years of experience in reviewing and negotiating commercial
contracts, preferably in technology or SaaS
Ability to exercise independent judgment in a fast-paced
environment
Demonstrated capability to provide pragmatic legal advice balancing
risk and business goals
Familiarity with privacy laws and regulations such as GDPR, CPRA,
and CCPA
