As a leader in protective services, we provide strategic security solutions to ensure the safety of various environments, including retail settings. This role is central to maintaining a secure and safe shopping environment for customers and staff while effectively managing potential security threats. The ideal candidate will possess a strong sense of integrity, exceptional observational skills, and the capability to act swiftly in challenging situations. Monitor surveillance equipment and perform regular patrols within the retail environment to detect and deter suspicious activities. Maintain a visible presence to ensure the safety and security of customers and employees. Manage crowd control and provide assistance during emergencies, including coordinating with law enforcement and emergency responders. Implement security measures and protocols effectively as dictated by company policy and management directives. Write detailed reports on incidents and daily activities. Collaborate with store management and staff to develop security strategies tailored to specific needs and situations. Proficiency in using surveillance systems and security tools. Strong interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with the public and law enforcement. Ability to respond appropriately to stressful and emergency situations. Understanding of and compliance with legal guidelines related to security enforcement. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Life Insurance 401k Security Guard certification or license as required by state law. CPR and First Aid certifications are advantageous.
