Avis Budget Group is seeking a dedicated Rental Fleet Clerk to contribute to our dynamic team. This role centers around the oversight and management of our diverse fleet of rental vehicles. The successful candidate will ensure optimal fleet availability and conditions to meet customer demands across Avis, Budget, and Zipcar brands. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a passion for customer service in the automotive service industry. Monitor, organize, and manage fleet inventory to ensure vehicle availability matches customer reservations and demands. Conduct regular inspections and coordinate maintenance and repair tasks to maintain vehicle safety and quality. Report and analyze fleet utilization and maintenance data to optimize fleet efficiency. Manage vehicle cleanliness and readiness for rental. Coordinate with other team members and departments to resolve any operational issues. Assist in the documentation and recording of fleet details. Excellent organizational and multitasking skills Strong attention to detail Proficiency in fleet management software Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Medical Insurance Dental Insurance 401k Valid driver’s license Proficiency certification in relevant fleet management software is a plus
