Benefits Manager (Honolulu, HI (Corporate Office)) JOB SUMMARY/ GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

The Benefits Manager is a full-time position located at any existing Navatek Office, responsible for strategic and administrative tasks associated with the organization's employee benefits, including health insurance, life insurance, and other fringe benefit programs. In addition, the Benefits Manager will be responsible for administering an employee wellness program across the company. The person in this role will provide professional, timely support to both internal staff and external contacts while maintaining a high degree of accuracy. This opportunity is located at any of our office locations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide day-to-day administration of benefits programs, including enrollments, changes, assisting employees

Act as the key point of contact for vendors, brokers, and other external partners to administer programs

Conduct strategic research and provide recommendations to management for benefit plan enhancements and annual market reviews

Work closely with Accounting, Payroll, and HR functions in a collaborative manner

Implement new systems and technology related to benefit plan administration

Administer employee wellness program

Develop policies, procedures, standard operating procedures, employee materials, and other internal content

Develop sustainable business relationships with vendors and other external partners

Ensure compliance with all applicable requirements

Support Navatek’s business objectives, strategic goals, and organizational values

Performs other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS/ REQUIREMENTS:

5 years’ of relevant work experience managing benefits programs

Knowledge of Hawaii health insurance and benefits requirements

Knowledge of health insurance and benefit requirements across the continental United States

Bachelor’s degree

Proficiency in MS Office applications and ADP Workforce Now; JAMIS Prime software is a plus

Ability to balance multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, while working strongly with others in a team

A sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the company’s success

The ability to self-motivate and demonstrate good time-management skills

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

Critical thinker and problem-solving skills

Attentive to detail

Regular attendance is required for the position
