Job Description:

Performs senior professional work leading full-cycle recruitment by partnering with client groups to understand and support recruitment needs to include senior level and hard to fill jobs. Works with the Recruitment Manager in the development of organization wide recruitment strategies policies and practices. Represents KS at Job Fairs and other community/recruitment events.

Recruitment Strategy [Life Cycle]

Works with the Recruitment Manager in the design and development of the organization’s recruitment strategy to include senior level and hard to fill jobs.

Ensures consistency and alignment when partnering with clients to develop specific strategies as needed.

Establishes and maintains relationships through association and professional memberships and builds a pool of qualified applicants.

Recruits for high need and hard to fill senior level and leadership positions.

Regularly researches and identifies new sources for active recruiting.

Identifies opportunities to capture passive applicants.

Contacts candidates and schedules interviews; partners with hiring manager to develop interview questions and screening tools.

Staffing Agency

Maintains positive relations and works with a variety of agencies as needed for hiring of senior level positions.

Monitors and evaluates need for agency hires in partnership with hiring manager.

Community Outreach

Identifies the need for and oversees job fairs and community outreach and other recruiting events.

Onboarding

Oversees and conducts background checks.

Extends offers of employment and may conduct new hire orientation or exit interviews.

Training

Identifies a need for and develops appropriate manager training programs and materials.

Conducts manager trainings as needed.

Position Requirements

Minimum Qualifications - A combination of education and experience may be substituted for the requirements listed.

Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business or related field

Minimum of 7 years of experience in recruiting.

Excellent working knowledge of technology and proficiency in the use of spreadsheet, word processing, data management and presentation applications.

Knowledge of information/applicant tracking or recruiting systems

Demonstrated experience successfully developing and implementing recruitment plans and strategies

Demonstrated successful placement of hard-to-fill and leadership jobs.

Exceptional customer service focus

Excellent organization and time management skills to manage competing priorities.

Ability to work efficiently and effectively while maintaining attention to detail

Ability to handle confidential information

Training and/or work experience guiding and consulting with individuals, managers and senior leaders

Preferred Qualifications

Physical Requirements

Frequently sits, perform desk-based computer tasks and grasp light or fine manipulation, talk or hear.

Occasionally stand and/or walk, write by hand, and lift and/or carry, push and/or pull objects that weigh up to 10 pounds.

Rarely twist, bend, stoop, squat, kneel, crawl, climb, reach or work above shoulder, or grasp forcefully.

Working Conditions

This position will involve traveling to various locations, including neighbor islands to conduct business.

Work is conducted in an office environment and may require work to be conducted in non-standard workplaces.

Work is typically conducted Monday through Friday at normal business hours but evening and weekend hours are often required to meet goals and objectives.
