Job Description:

Ho`--la School is seeking a Head of School to serve as philosophical, instructional, and managerial leader of the Ho`--la Educational Philosophy. The ideal candidate will have a passionate commitment to this implicit model of education, be open to being trained the Ho`--la model, promote the growth of problem- or project-based learning, and have experience as a leader in an established school.--

• Strong advocate for and experience with social and emotional learning education and project-based or problem-based learning.
• Previous educational experience; leadership responsibilities/experience preferred.
• Robust leadership and collaborative skills.
• Experience in developing and maintaining sustainability of a school.
• Proven experience with staff supervision and budget management.
• Ability/willingness to lead in fund development, including identification, cultivation, and stewardship of donors.
• Highly self-motivated.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills. Appreciation for students with learning differences as well as for students from diverse family and socio-economic situations.
