Planate Management Group(PMG) is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) headquartered in Alexandria, Virginia, and Orlando, Florida USA with a technical support center in South East Asia and East Africa, that provides program management and facilities engineering services worldwide. Planate is a small business provider of planning, design, infrastructure management, technical consulting, engineering, and construction management services in support of the US Department of Defense (DOD) and its Service (Army, Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps) missions, along with other US federal agencies, all over the world. The Quality Assurance Representative is responsible for providing project quality control and assurance plan ; as well as c onduct ing fieldwork for material verification and to check that work performed complies with the contract statement of work, drawings, specifications, and submittal requirements. Primarily, the work of performance will be in the Honolulu District (POH). Work location will be determined as task orders are issued Key responsibilities:

• Visit project sites to obtain information on facility/site conditions and develop recommendations during project development
• Provide on-site quality assurance/control and safety compliance
• Interpret engineering drawings, schematic diagrams, and confer with management or engineering staff to determine quality and reliability standards. Ensures documentation is current, accurate and available
• Maintain records of project progress
• Monitor compliance with environmental protection requirements and document all findings
• Report and document instances of non-compliance with quality control and safety requirements
• Test and inspect construction site/s at various stages of the production process and compiles statistical data to determine and maintain quality and reliability of the process
• Interpret engineering drawings, schematic diagrams, or formulas and confers with management or engineering staff to determine quality and reliability standards
• Conduct product test ing such as dimensions, performance, and mechanical, electrical, or chemical characteristics at specified stages in the construction process
• Record test data, applying statistical quality control procedures
• Evaluate data and reports to validate or indicate deviations from existing standards
• Recommend modifications of existing quality or production standards to achieve optimum quality within limits of equipment capability
• Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate. Qualifications to be successful in the role:
  • High School Diploma/G. E.D and at least ten(10) credit or semester hours of technical training.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and have experience in quality assurance documentation, updating of project schedules, etc.
  • Experience in preparing and finalizing pre-award, quality assurance, and contract administration processes for Government Construction Contracts.
  • Proficient with USACE - RMS, QA/QCS
  • Must be able to travel. Capable of performing off-island travel within the Pacific Region for extended periods. Why Planate?
