Hawaii is looking for a Director
general supervision of theDirector of Clinical
Reimbursement.TheDirector of Admissionsis responsible forthe
coordination of an effective and efficient admission process
through referral processing,Ohana
(OAT)management, community partner collaboration, and risk
management while achieving established goals and
shift, Monday - Friday from 8:00 am - 4:30 pm.

staff performance and provides regular feedback on quality and
quantity of work, reinforces positive work behaviors, and
intervenes in corrective action.
scheduling and staffing.
personnel management activities associated with direct staff
supervision, including screening and selection, orientation
training and development, performance management and employee
oversight ofadmission process.
status daily and sets goals based on census and pending
weeklycensus availabilitybased on upcoming
Reviews referrals and clinically
clears and processes.
trends or obstacles of denials or lost
LOAs and sub-acute determinations as necessary
with admission liaison to direct and supervise to improve customer
relationships and census management.
routine schedule of joint rounding.
maintains positive relationships with hospital and community
communities with follow-up as needed for documentation errors,
missing documentation, or additional documentation
Performance Improvement Plans for identified areas in
Minimum of 3
clinical setting or case management preferred.
A track record
of successful experience in a health care setting, strong
interpersonal skills, and experience working with physicians,
nursing management, discharge planners, case managers, and social
as a Registered Nurse in the State of Hawaii
First Aid and
CPR preferred. (can be done in-house).
current medical/health screening including 2 step TB clearance (can
be done in-house).
