CT Technologist Rotating 40 West-Queen's Health System
Responsibilities I. JOB SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES:--- - Prepares and
performs a variety of CT procedures. ---- - Provides patient care
during procedures.II. TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS:--- - Essential: -
standing, sitting, walking, finger dexterity, seeing, hearing,
speaking, lifting, pushing/pulling maximum weight of 50 pounds of
force, carrying usual weight of 25 pounds. ---- - Continuous: -
reaching at and below shoulder level, repetitive arm/hand motions,
frequent gripping of an object. ---- - Frequent: -
stooping/bending, lifting weight up to maximum weight of 50 pounds,
carrying usual weight of 50 pounds, reaching above shoulder level,
static gripping of an object for prolonged periods. ---- -
Occasional: kneeling, squatting, twisting body. ---- - Operates CT
scanner, computer, telephone, printer.III. TYPICAL WORKING
CONDITIONS:--- - Not substantially subjected to adverse
environmental conditions. ---- - Exposed to communicable diseases.
Work environment may be stressful due to patient volume.IV. MINIMUM
QUALIFICATIONS:A. EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION AND LICENSURE:--- -
Current Hawaii state license as Radiologic Technologist.--- -
Certification in Computed Tomography (CT) by the American Registry
of Radiologic Technologist (A.R.R.T.).--- - In-depth knowledge of
anatomy and physiology to effectively communicate with the Medical
Staff.--- - Current BLS/HCP certification.B. E
