Job DescriptionPOSITION TITLE: Parts Runner COMPANY: Grace Pacific, LLC.DEPARTMENT: Quarry REPORTS TO: Quarry Admin SupervisorSTATUS: Non-Union, ExemptPRINCIPAL DUTIESThe Parts Runner position is an integral part of Quarry operations. This position comes with the responsibility of expedient parts pick up and delivery to facilitate timely equipment repairs. This position comes with the potential for further career development and the opportunity to gain an understanding of Quarry operations.1. Picks up and/or receives parts/supplies from vendors and delivers to mechanics or shop inventory as instructed.2. Helps facilitate receipt of deliveries at the Quarry and may need to operate forklift to load/unload items. Sort deliveries and put into designated storage areas. Keep storage areas, parts containers, and shelves clean and organized3. Shuttles company vehicles to service vendors for maintenance and oil changes as requested.4. Shuttles employees to drop off locations5. Performs courier duties between company locations and main office.6. Maintains accurate inventory schedules for management as requested. Give BOLs, delivery tags, or other relevant paperwork to staff as directed.7. Maintains assigned company vehicle in a clean and orderly manner.8. Performs other duties as assigned.9. Promotes awareness of and follows Company and general safety policies.10. Exhibits a core understanding of mutual respect and good customer service orientation in interactions with all people in the workplace.11. Consistent attendance is required. Must be able to manage time efficiently with limited supervision.

PRINCIPAL REQUIREMENTS1. High School Diploma or GED2. Minimum 1 year related experience preferred, within industrial repair shop or automotive/equipment repair setting. Experience with parts inventory a preferred.3. Working knowledge of Word, Excel, Access, Email. Adaptable to in-house software. Keyboarding skills sufficient to complete tasks in a timely manner. Must be able to lift, pull up to 50 pounds.4. May be subject to bending, twisting, reaching, kneeling and lifting such as retrieving and replacing materials, supplies and inventory or while cleaning shop.5. May be subject to climbing on equipment to tie down large parts.6. Excellent interpersonal skills to ensure effective internal and external communications.7. Uses basic math functions to perform daily tasks.8. Must be able to read and understand equipment requirements and specifications.9. Valid driver's license and favorable traffic abstract.10. Forklift Operation or must obtain within the first 60 days of employment.11. MSHA Certification or must obtain within the first 60 days of employment.12. First Aid/AED/CPR Certification or must obtain within the first 60 days of employment.EOE / M / F / Vet / Disabled / AAP
