Purpose:Primarily responsible for loan data entry, the initial
framework and retention of loan files, accurately processing Home
Equity Line of Credit (HELOC) loan applications, and assisting with
processing 1st mortgage loan files as needed. Essential
Functions:Receives and reviews new loan applications and related
documents for accuracy and validity.Performs verbal and written
communication with applicants to reduce errors and discrepancies,
answer member questions, and request forms and/or other loan
documentation.Establishes accurate loan files by collecting
necessary components for HELOCs and/or 1st mortgages (i.e.
employment and income data, financial statements, property
information, credit reports, current debts, monthly expense
records, etc.).Verifies accuracy and completeness of all
accumulated data and documentation. Error-free processing for Home
Equity Lines of Credit and/or mortgage loans.Maintains compliance
with all applicable regulatory policies and procedures.Assists Home
Equity Loan Officer as needed.Performs other functions as
requested. Performance Standards:Accuracy of the HELOC loan
files.Organization and completeness of loan files.Execution of
responsibilities by scheduled deadlinesCompliance with all
regulatory policies and procedures.
Qualifications:Education/Certification: High school diploma or GED
is required. Required Knowledge: Basic understanding of MS Office
Applications is desired.Knowledge of lending/processing
procedures.Experience Required: 1+ years of lending/processing
experience.Skills/Abilities: Excellent member service
skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Excellent
analytical, creative, and problem-solving skills.Able to work with

Sedentary work (sitting most of the time). Able to lift and carry
up to 25 lbs.Reasoning Ability: Able to apply common sense
understanding to carry-out detailed instructions and to deal with
problems involving variables.Mathematics Ability: Able to perform
basic math skills including adding, subtracting, multiplying and
dividing using a calculator.Language Ability: Able to write complex
sentences using normal word order with present and past tenses, as
well as a command of the English vocabulary. Working
Conditions:Air-conditioned, smoke-free office setting. Business
Hours & Attendance Requirements:Monday through Saturday. Business
