Job Description:

POSITION SUMMARY: Under the direction of the General Manager, the Administration Clerk will be responsible for answering all incoming phone calls and greeting walk-in customers and vendors. The Administration Clerk is responsible for the distribution of incoming, outgoing, and inter-office mail. The Administration Clerk maintains a high standard of business ethics and professionalism.

Sorts and distributes all mail according to destination such as facility location, department, etc.
Runs postage and prepares outgoing mail for pick up.
Processes certified and registered mail and proof of mail.
Maintains a high degree of accuracy and professionalism in all typed correspondence.
Serves as a cashier for the Waipahu Parts Department. Records cash sales documents on a cash sheet form and prepare deposit slips daily to include daily cash box balances.
Processes freight account payable invoices. Researches to get proper coding and vouchers the invoices either by scanning to San Diego or inputting them on SharePoint.
Keeps inventory of all office supplies for the branch. Prepares orders for the replenishment of supplies, as needed. Processes all requests for office supplies and equipment from department managers/representatives. All routine orders to be approved by department managers and any large orders to be approved by the General Manager.
Assists with the upkeep of visitors board.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Must have a minimum of one years experience in an office environment.
Must have knowledge on Microsoft word and excel
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Must have a valid Drivers License and good driving record.
Maintains a high degree of accuracy and professionalism in all typed correspondence
Good verbal and communication skills.

Walking: Moves about on foot often up and down stairs.
Handling: Seizes, helps, or works with hands.
Lifting: Carries, raises or lowers miscellaneous paperwork, files, laptop, manuals, etc.
Reaching: Extends hands and arms in any direction.
Stooping: Bends body downward and forward by bending at knees or waist.
Standing: Remains in standing position if required to perform various functions of the job.
Vision: Reads paperwork, employment files and records on the computer.
Talking: Communicates by phone and in person.
Sitting: Sits at desk for extended periods.

Noise: Works in conditions with constant or intermittent noise.
Temp/Weather: Works in an office environment.
