support.Summary:Goldbelt, Inc. Nisga'a Tek is seeking a high-level
Computer Systems Engineer/Architect. This person will develop
information technology systems that will provide system
capabilities required for projected workloads, and plans layout and
installation of new system or modification of existing
system.Essential Job Functions:+ Analyzes organizational business
needs in terms of information technology systems requirements+
Evaluates factors such as number of departments serviced by data
processing equipment, reporting formats required, volume of
transactions, time requirements and cost constraints, and need for
security and access restrictions to determine hardware
configurations.+ Analyzes information to determine, recommend, and
plan layout for type of computers and peripheral equipment, or
modifications to existing equipment and system that will provide
capability for proposed project or workload, efficient operation,
and effective use of allotted space+ Develop solutions to complex
application problems+ Provide expertise during all project phases+
Gather and interpret functional specifications and user
requirements+ Coordinate the analysis, develop and operation of
computer application systems+ Prepare consolidated requirements and
functional design specifications+ Identify system data, hardware
and software components needed to meet user needs+ Advise on
project costs, design concepts, and design changes+ Design software
engineering architecture+ Implement enterprise level reusable
services+ Integrate custom workflowNecessary Skills and Knowledge:+
Proven experience in deploying and managing Red Hat Enterprise
Linux in a highly distributed global enterprise using Red Hat
Satellite+ Demonstrated track record of team leadership and
technical execution on technical projects+ Professional hands-on
experience in systems engineering tools, computer algorithm
development+ Experience developing detailed models and simulations
of electronic circuits or systems for design verification+
Experience with analysis, design, or test of superconducting
electronics, system architecture study or design+ Excellent written
and verbal communication skills+ Excellent critical thinking and
problem-solving skills+ Advanced skillset in time management and
task prioritizationMinimum Qualifications:+ Bachelor's Degree in a
technology related field or 15 years of related experience+ Red Hat
Certified Systems Administrator (RHCSA) plus one additional
specialized certification relevant to the scope of the PWS+ Tenable
Security Center 5.x Certification (DISA/CDTC/Tenable University) or
3 years of related experience+ IAT III Baseline Certification
(CISSP/CASP)+ Minimum fifteen (15) years of experience performing a
combination of systems design, architecture, engineering, and
