2023" award! - The Lead Counselor Advocate is responsible for
providing advocacy, crisis counseling, case management and support
services to domestic violence and sex trafficking
victims/survivors, offenders, and child sex abuse victims. The Lead
Counselor Advocate also provides direct support to the Program
Supervisor and training, support, and leadership to Counselor
Advocates and Group Facilitators. This position is under the direct
supervision of the Program Director. Essential Job Functions 1.
Behaves in a manner that supports the agency's mission and follows
personnel policies and procedures. - 2. Plans, conducts, and
completes intakes, assessments, group intervention, and individual
services in accordance with agency and program procedures. - 3.
Provides an array of direct domestic violence services including
individual counseling, case management, crisis intervention, group
management, and advocacy. Attends to the safety of victim/survivors
and children, as designated. - 4. Supports effective program
functioning through coordination and evaluation to ensure
consistent quality of service. Acts as lead on program projects in
consultation with the Program Supervisor, including data
collection, report writing, and cross training/mentoring of
Counselor Advocates and Group Facilitators. - 5. Assures timely
maintenance of accurate record keeping, data input, payment
processing, and court reporting on clients. Assists Program
Supervisor in assuring that contract deliverables are met. Assists
Program Director in preparation of contract reports. - 6. Monitors
programmatic eHana functions and informs Program Supervisor and/or
Program Director of necessary updates, as needed. Trains all new
program staff on the efficient utilization of the eHana system,
providing ongoing troubleshooting as needed. - 7. Works
collaboratively with other staff, program leadership, community
members, clients, and collaterals to address issues related to
services and program activities. Provides community and partner
