JOB SUMMARY:

The Visitation Specialist will provide and monitor visitations to families identified and/or referred by the Judiciary, attorneys, mediation programs or themselves as needing such services related to family violence and child development. This position communicates with family members, other staff members, Program Management, and service providers. In addition, the position performs a wide variety of safety measures, office and clerical duties. This position is under the direct supervision of the Program Supervisor.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Generally good working conditions in an air-conditioned office with little or no exposure to extremes of heat or noise; open work area with limited privacy.
Equipment Use: Computers and other types of office equipment including, PC, Tablet, Copy Machine, Fax Machine, Scanner, Multi-Line Phone and video camera, DVD player and alarm system.
Work Hours: Hours and days as assigned within 9:00am - 9:00pm, Monday through Sunday.


Education / Training:
Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, counseling, or another related field, preferred. Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent, required.

Experience:
1. One (1) year experience in direct services to children and high-risk families, required.
