Knowledge of many different floor coverings is helpful. The Project Lead completes all duties in accordance with the Jan OPS Cleaning System. The Project Lead keeps the Area Supervisor informed of all major activities.Responsibilities:

  • Perform spot removal, extraction, bonnet cleaning, strip/wax, scrub/recoat, seal/grout, etc.
  • Scrub, shine, clean, and repair carpeted and non-carpeted areas using appropriate equipment and chemicals.
  • Clean floors and stairways by sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming
  • Move large furniture and objects when necessary, and follow safety guidelines to prevent injury to themselves and others.
  • Keep janitor closet neat, clean, and organized
  • Follow manufacturer's specifications for preparing chemicals and using equipment
  • Ensure building doors and windows are secure and locked
  • Report to supervisor needed repairs, safety hazards, or conditions requiring additional service
  • Follow all company policies and procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Area Supervisor or Area Manager RequirementsPersonal: Dependable, honest, strong work ethic, motivated, professional appearance and hygiene, communication skills, team playerPhysical: Able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds; able to kneel, crawl, and squat periodically; able to stand and walk for extended periods; able to reach above head and shoulders continuously; able to climb stairs and laddersTechnical: Ability to operate and use janitorial tools, equipment, and supplies preferred, but not required. Es --til tener conocimiento de distintos revestimientos de piso. El T--cnico en Pisos completa todas sus tareas de acuerdo con el Sistema de Limpieza JanOPS. El T--cnico de pisos mantiene informado al Supervisor de --rea de todas las actividades m--s importantes.Responsabilidades:
    • Realizar remoci--n de manchas, extracci--n, limpieza con cepillo, disolver/encerar, restregar/reaplicar recubrimiento, sellar/aplicar lechada, etc.
    • Restregar, abrillantar, limpiar y reparar --reas con y sin alfombras usando el equipo y los qu--micos apropiados.
    • Limpiar pisos y escaleras con escoba, trapeador y aspiradora
    • Mover muebles y objetos grandes cuando sea necesario y seguir los lineamientos para evitar lesiones a s-- mismos y a otros.
    • Mantener el armario de intendencia pulcro, limpio y bien organizado
    • Seguir las especificaciones del fabricante para preparar qu--micos usando equipo
    • Asegurarse de que las puertas y ventanas del edificio est--n aseguradas y con cerrojo
    • Reportar al supervisor reparaciones necesarias, riesgos de seguridad o condiciones que requieran servicio adicional
    • Seguir todas las pol--ticas y procedimientos de la compa----a
    • Realizar otras actividades conforme lo asigne el Supervisor de --rea o el Gerente de --reaRequerimientos Personales: Confiable, honesto, con una --tica de trabajo robusta, motivado, apariencia e higiene profesionales, habilidades para comunicarse, que trabaje en equipoF--sicos: Capaz de levantar, empujar y jalar hasta 50 libras; capaz de arrodillarse, gatear y ponerse en cuclillas peri--dicamente; capaz de estar de pie y caminar por largos periodos de tiempo; capaz de alcanzar continuamente objetos sobre su cabeza y hombros; capaz de subir escaleras est--ticas y port--tilesT--cnicos: De preferencia pero no es obligatorio: capacidad de operar y usar herramientas, equipo, y suministros de intendencia.Experiencia/Estudios: De preferencia certificado de preparatoria; de preferencia un a--o de experiencia previo en el cuidado de pisos.#ZRPowered by JazzHR
