SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES:--- Responsible for consulting with
internal constituents on the identification, development, analyzing
and reporting data metrics and analyses to improve nursing
programs--- Responsible for tracking data trends and progress for
nursing excellence / Magnet, such as BSN rates, certifications
rates, patient experience data, and other clinical nursing
sensitive indicators.--- Responsible for preparing nursing
demographics report for Magnet and other specialty projects.---
Reviews data analytics to determine effectiveness of initiatives
and programs.--- Responsible for special projects as assigned.---
Responsible for preparing and disseminating timely reports.---
Responsible for maintaining accurate and appropriate data for the
nursing division.--- Initiates changes and actions to resolve
discrepancies, problems etc., with others as necessary.Ii. TYPICAL
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:--- Required: - seeing, hearing, speaking, finger
dexterity. ---- Frequent: - standing, walking, reaching above, at
and below shoulder level. ---- Occasional: - sitting, kneeling,
climbing stairs, squatting, carrying usual weight of 5 pounds;
reaching above shoulder level. -III. TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS:---
Not substantially subjected to adverse environmental conditions.IV.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:A. EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION AND LICENSURE:---
High school diploma or equivalent.--- Bachelor's degree in
healthcare, business administration, statistics, information
systems, or related field; or four (4) years of work experience in
data analysis and reporting working with spreadsheets and database
applications may be substituted for educational requirements.B.
EXPERIENCE:--- In addition to the educational requirement, two (2)
years of experience in data analysis, visualization methods and
reporting.--- Experience with virtual meeting platforms.---
Experience to demonstrate:o Advanced proficiency in working with
spreadsheets and pivot tables.o Strong knowledge of database
applications.o Excellent verbal and written communication skills.o
Outstanding problem solving and organizational skills.o Strong
customer service orientation.o Ability to work effectively as a
team player and work with people of all disciplines, at all
organization levels.C. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:--- Advanced
experience with Excel - pivot tables, graphs, charts, reporting.---
Experience with MS Access.--- Proficiency in Smartsheet.---
