Summary You will serve as a Physical Security Specialist in the C4I Directorate (N6) of PAC FLEET SUB FORCE OPS COMPONENTDuties--- You will authorize and direct the issue of Communications Security (COMSEC) material and/or equipment to staff and assigned units, and ensure the issuance of follow-on replacement COMSEC material to deployed units.--- You will analyze Electronic Key Management System (EKMS) allowance requirements for subordinate Force commands based on deployment schedules, types of operations and geographical areas of deployment.--- You will investigate reports of suspected physical compromise, loss, unauthorized destruction, or finding of COMSEC material/equipment to determine Force problem areas impacting national security interests.--- You will schedule and conduct periodic EKMS inspections as directed by higher authority.--- You will, as Controlling Authority for in excess of 75 COMSEC crypto keymats, determine classification, periodicity, production amount, and authorized distribution.--- You will prepare and manage the command's Emergency Action Plan (EAP) for all COMSEC material/cryptographic equipment located in two major communications centers that handle special intelligence COMSEC material.--- You will conduct required drills of the EAP, providing training and guidance to all communications user personnel.--- You will maintain local custody, accountability, inventory, transfer and destruction of all levels of COMSEC material and cryptographic equipment.--- You will closely monitor all Force unit deployments, anticipating requirements for normal and unique COMSEC material and equipment.--- You will schedule and conduct fleet COMMANDER required CMS/COMSEC and SAS inspections of afloat units and prepare detailed inspection reports providing recommended corrective action on discrepancies cited.--- You will develop written operational guidance, direct issues and monitor delivery of all material to special projects platforms.--- You will independently manage a major COMSEC Material System account for the Force Commander totaling over 7,000 software/hardware items.--- You will be responsible for protecting classified information, to include securing it in approved equipment or facilities whenever it is not under the direct control of an authorized personRequirements Conditions of Employment--- Must be a US
