Range: $91,000 to $123,000Position Summary Description:The
Enterprise Applications Supervisor of Operations is responsible for
being the lead technical resource for the Supply Chain modules of
Dynamics 365. This position will work closely with the Warehouse
Operations team to optimize and troubleshoot our current D365
Supply Chain configuration and also to design, configure, and
implement new solutions to provide more efficiency in the
warehouse. The EA Supervisor of Operations will lead a team of
System Business Analysts to support and mentor them. In addition,
this position will collaborate with other IT business units to
support all business processes and will communicate with other
departments and partners to understand business requirements.
Responsible for the design, customization, and maintenance of D365
Supply Chain modules, Transportation applications, and truck
loading applications. Researches and recommends technology
decisions and oversees implementation, improvements, and ongoing
support of major systems.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain the various configurations within the
Dynamics 365 Advanced Warehousing Module - including, but not
limited to, Work Templates, Location Directives, Wave Templates,
Mobile Device Menus, Replenishment, Slot/Location Setup, Labels,
and Cycle Counting.
- Manages and participates in the designing, documentation,
testing, implementation and administration of the company's major
systems including Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain,
Omnitracs Roadnet, BFC TruckBuilder, and other related
components.
- Leads the Enterprise Applications Operations team and provide
direction, guidance, and coaching for the staff. Communicates
company priorities, manages workloads, communicates job
expectations, and conducts performance reviews for the team.
- Understands and helps troubleshoot the hardware requirements of
the Operations team including, but not limited to, barcode scanning
devices, label printers, invoice printers, and laptops.
- Assists in the project management and reporting on major
projects and initiatives.
- Responsible for keeping track of and sometimes participating in
regular application updates, patches, hotfixes, and upgrades.
Tasked with providing recommendations on enhancements and process
modification to existing software.
- Works closely with day and night Operations teams to understand
how IT can support company and department objectives.
- Responsible for the planning, analysis, recommendation, and
implementation of major computer applications and their related
components.
- Assists in finding new vendors and working directly with the
vendors and their teams on major projects.
- Manages, develops, and implements system level security and
provides direction and support of security policies and
practices.
- Remains at the forefront of emerging industry practices and
manages the process of innovative change effectively.Supervisory
Responsibilities:Responsible for planning, assigning and directing
work; counseling employees, appraising performance; rewarding and
disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving
problems. As the technical lead of D365 Supply Chain modules, this
position is also responsible for the training and mentoring of
existing team members.Direct reports to include: IT System Business
AnalystsQualifications:Education/Training and Experience3 or more
years of experience in system administration of Dynamics 365 or AX
Operations/Supply Chain. 1 to 3 years of management or leadership
experience desired. Food Service Industry Experience preferred. 5
or more years of experience in business and process analysis and
working in ERP systems. Excellent understanding of warehouse
operations and ERP system configurations is required.Experience and
knowledge in Distribution, Transportation, Logistics, and
Warehousing required.Prior experience working with Food or other
Date Sensitive products a plus.Prior experience working with catch
weight products is a plusBachelor's Degree in Computer Science,
Engineering, Business Administration, related field or equivalent
work experience and professional certifications.Communication
SkillsMust be proficient in the English language and communicate
clearly and effectively in written and oral form.Must be able to
