Overview:
Reed Charters LLC is actively recruiting for an Operational Planning & Assessments Planner to join our consultant team based in Honolulu, Hawaii. You will play a crucial role in providing technical support for the assessment of planning, coordination, integration, facilitation, and synchronizing of 160+ activities, processes, systems, concepts, and products in support of client's operational plans, engagements, and other scenario specific events.

Position Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Builds All Domain Integrated Planning Team (ADIPT) products that synchronize the intended effects across the client's Operations, Activities, and Investments (OAIs).
• Creates briefing products supporting the execution of various Board meetings per month.
• Serves as the client's primary representative for U.S. Indo-Pacific Command Assessments of USINDOPACOM's Calendar Year 26-28 Campaign Order and all replacement orders, specified execution orders, plan orders, and like directives.
• Support Operational Planning Teams, and other work groups as requested/required.
• Coordinates, synchronizes, and builds semi-annual assessments, all replacement orders, associated execution orders, modifications, and fragmentary orders.
• Serves as client's primary representative for crisis and conflict operational or joint planning teams.
• Provides technical support in the administration and management of assessment related systems, (i.e., Command and Control Information Environment (C2IE), SharePoint, and Share Drive).Qualifications and Experience We Require:
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.
  • Advanced proficiency with the C2IE system.
  • Thorough understanding of USINDOPACOM organization, command relationships, assigned commands,and direct reporting units as well as the political military situation in the Indo-Pacific.
  • Advanced proficiency with groupware applications (i.e., SharePoint, MS Teams) and the Microsoft Office suite (i.e., MSWord, Power Point, Excel, etc.).
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.Working Conditions:
    • The Operational Planning & Assessment Planner will primarily work in an office environment with occasional travel to various operational sites (10%).
    • The role may require extended hours during critical assessment periods or in response to urgent operational needs.
    • The planner must be able to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
    • Physical demands include prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
    • The planner must be comfortable working in environments that may have limited accessibility and require physical dexterity.
    • Security protocols must be strictly followed to ensure the safe handling of information.
    • The position may involve attending meetings and briefings, both in-person and virtually, which could require flexible working hours to accommodate different time zones.Who is Reed Charters LLC?
