**Responsibilities**
**Education Practice Area:**
+ PCG's Education Consulting service line focuses on highly complex
and innovative state-level and district-level curriculum
development and e-learning projects across several content areas
and grade bands
+ We are providing a motivated person with a career opportunity to
provide Educators and Students with Equitable Access to
High-quality Curriculum that represents the voices and choices of
Local stakeholders
+ PCG's Education Consulting service line seeks a Business Analyst
to contribute to our curriculum development and implementation
projects
+ The Business Analyst will support project teams with stakeholder
engagement, requirements gathering, and project management
**Specific Responsibilities:**
**Contribute to Client and Project Management:**
+ Interface with clients and contribute to requirements
gathering
+ Support management of internal project teams and ensure that
established project management processes and structures are
appropriately implemented
+ Contribute to management of project plan and coordination of
discrete timelines, due dates, assignments, and workflow
+ Participate in and contribute to organization of planning
meetings, status meetings, and other meetings as needed, including
creation of agendas, facilitation, and documentation of notes and
next steps
+ Contribute to on-site training and professional development
activities for clients
+ Provide technical support by phone, email, Microsoft Teams, Zoom,
and Google Meet, as needed
+ Establish and maintain project collaboration sites (e.g., using
SharePoint and Google Drive)
+ Contribute to development of project status reports for
management and for clients
**Collect, analyze, present, and act upon data:**
+ Coordinate data collection efforts, including acquisition of
student data, survey data, and other data relevant to our
projects
+ Participate in on-site and/or virtual client data collection
activities, such a focus groups and interviews
+ Organize and carry out all aspects of survey production and
processing, including formatting, printing, distribution,
collection, and analysis
+ Generate spreadsheets, tables, and graphs to effectively and
attractively present data for clients
+ Use advanced features of Excel to expedite data analysis,
including complex formulas, linking worksheets, lookups, pivot
tables, macros, and charts
+ Assist with written reports and other materials for clients
**Contribute to Proposal and Business Development:**
+ Manage the proposal development process, including the
development schedule, staff assignments, documentation
requirements, production, and timely delivery
+ Regularly scan the environment for new RFPs and other
opportunities
+ Participate in business development efforts, including
contributing to conferences, marketing campaigns, presentations,
and sales meeting
**Create materials for professional development, e-learning,
curriculum products, and communications:**
+ Incorporate client and end-user feedback to continuously improve
professional learning experiences
+ Participate in production of materials required for work with
clients, including, when required vendor selection, negotiation of
best prices, and review of proof materials
+ Conduct quality assurance testing to ensure training materials
are accurate
+ Design documents, reports, sales collateral, and presentations
that effectively and attractively convey meaning and adhere to
style guidelines
+ Recommend new enhancements (e.g., new document styles) and more
efficient methods to improve project deliverables
+ Establish logical structures for maintaining version control and
storing project documents
**Contribute to the organization:**
+ Develop a thorough understanding of our products and services
+ Capture and share knowledge accrued and lessons learned
throughout the lifecycle of projects
+ Suggest areas for improvement in internal processes, operations,
and client services, along with possible solutions
+ Comply with and help to enforce standard policies and
procedures
+ Participate in special assignments as needed
**Qualifications**
**Education/Experience:**
+ Bachelor's Degree
+ Proven work experience in Education, Consulting, or Business
Operations
+ Demonstrated expertise in MS Office products, particularly
PowerPoint, Access, Excel and Word
+ Proficient with Office 365 and the Google Suite
+ Ability to travel to client sites
+ Able to work with a diverse range of people
