Job Summary
The Sr. Consulting Systems Engineer- Enterprise Networking roleis a
post-sales focused role and will help build out, maintain, and
troubleshoot our rapidly expanding clients' enterprise network
infrastructure.ThisEngineer will demonstrate superb technical
competency, delivering mission critical infrastructure and ensuring
the highest levels of availability, performance, and
security.OurConsulting Systems Engineer will be responsible for
supporting large scale network deployments and all underlying
systems related to supporting on-premises/cloud workloads and IT
project deployment.Theywill utilize critical thinking and problem
solving in concert with effective industry tested tools to deliver
exceptional value to our customers as we help them to select,
deploy, and manage their hybrid cloud technology.
This position reports to the Director - Hybrid Cloud Professional
Services - Stratascale and is a remote position; however, may be
required to report into a Stratascale office location, as required
for business needs as determined by Stratascale management.

Responsibilities
Include but are not limited to:
Design, Install, configure, test & document enterprise networking
services from solution providers such as Cisco, Arista, Juniper,
Aruba, Fortinet, F5, etc. for both on-premises applications as well
as cloud-based workloads
Ability to support low level design and implementation of SDN/SDDC,
Core/Campus Networking, Data Center networking, Application Load
Balancing, Enterprise Wireless, WAN/SD-WAN, cloud connectivity such
as ExpressRoute and Direct Connect, inter-cloud routing and
connectivity.
Participate in pre-sales activity (10%) as an SME (Subject Matter
Expert) for deep-level whiteboard sessions and develop functional
requirements for solutions with clients
Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure
availability
Design & implement connectivity and redundancy strategies for both
on-prem and cloud-based workloads
Write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and
lower the human intervention time on any tasks
Participate in the design of information and operational support
systems
Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem
resolution
Provide support for dynamic client information technology needs
Facilitate and lead proof of value / proof of concept activities,
client demos in conjunction with the Customer Innovation Center
Qualifications
7+ years of proven working experience in installing, configuring,
and troubleshooting enterprise networking environments
3+ years of experience designing and implementing OSPF and BGP
3+ years of experience designing and implementing VXLAN Leaf/Spine
Networks
1 to 3 years of experience with configuring and implementing layer
2 and layer 3 networking within Azure, AWS, or GCP
3+ years of experience providing professional services
1 to 3 years of solid scripting experience with shell scripts,
Perl, Ruby, Python, VB, C++, C#, Java
Experience working with large scale IT projects related to design,
deployment, and configuration

Ability to provide technical support to the pre-sales teams for
services and products
Ability to conduct self-study and independent work in lab
facilities to increase job-related skills
Preferred Skills:
Technical writing, public speaking, SOW creation and delivery,
project scoping
Other vendor product and implementation experience
Experience with network automation tools such as Ansible or
Terraform
Working knowledge of network scripting tools such as Perl, Ruby,
Python, Bash, VB, C++, C#, Java

Additional Information
The estimated annual pay range for this position is $165,000 -
$230,000 which includes a base salary and bonuses. The compensation
for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills,
experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from
individual to individual. Benefits may include, but are not limited
to, medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending.
