The Queen's University Medical Group (QUMG) is an academic medical group practice consisting of 600+ providers, representing 17 specialties, including Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers (Advance Practice Registered Nurses, Physician Assistants, Psychologists, Certified Nurse Midwives). covering four hospitals --The Queen's Medical Center, The Queen's Medical Center - West O'ahu, Molokai General Hospital, Queen's North Hawaii Community Hospital -- and ambulatory clinical sites. - This Physician & APP Compensation Analyst will monitor, analyze and report physician and advanced practice professional (APP) compensation, productivity, financial performance, and professional billing data. The analyst will function as a resource in facilitiating implementation of physician and APP compensation, inclusive of reporting and working on related projects and initiatives. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION AND LICENSURE:--- - Bachelor's degree in business, finance, healthcare or related field; or four (4) years of experience in any combination of the following: healthcare industry, financial modeling and forecasting, and/or physician revenue cycle may substituted for the educational requirement.EXPERIENCE:--- - In addition to the educational requirement, three (3) years of progressive experience in healthcare or finance.--- - Experience to demonstrate: - o - Knowledge of the healthcare industry and working with financial systems, including, budgeting and analysis, financial modeling and forecasting and physician revenue cycle. - o - Knowledge of working with Excel, Word and PowerPoint.--- - Experience extracting and reporting off relational database using Clarity report writer, preferred.--- - Prior direct working relationship with physicians and/or APPs, preferred. TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS: --- - Finger dexterity, seeing, hearing, and speaking, sitting.--- - Frequent: walking.--- - Occasional: standing, stooping/bending, climbing stairs, lifting and carrying usual weight of 1 pound up to 5 pounds, reaching above, at and below shoulder level.
