VCA Kaneohe Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced (3-5 years minimum) Credentialed Technician, to join our team!We are specifically looking for Full-Time Overnight support; Shifts we are looking to cover are:- Thursday night into Friday- Friday night into Saturday- Saturday night into Sunday- Sunday night into MondayThis role will fulfill a forty (40) hour work week on days that are based on the needs of the hospital; as listed above.This position pays $25.00 - $27.00 per hour, dependent on experience, education, certification, etc.Benefits: We offer competitive compensation along with a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision and paid vacation/sick days, 401(k), generous employee pet discounts and more!The successful candidate will be a believer in the possibilities of high quality veterinary medicine and patient carewith the desire and ambitious work ethic to make them happen. Compassionate care for all patients is a must. In this position you will be supporting our Doctors by creating a positive, low-stress atmosphere for our clients and patients during their care overnight and post operatively. Duties will include but are not limited to: Lab sample collection and processing Medication preparation and administration overnight Radiology and diagnostics - if needed Venipuncture and catheter placement Post surgical care Post Dentistry care Computer data entry and maintaining electronic medical records Fear Free Patient handling and restraint for peer Veterinary Assistants, Registered Technicians and Doctors Filling prescriptions Rounding doctors on overnight patients into the morning Anesthesia Experience Dentistry Experience Catheter placement Urgent Care ExperienceReady to be part of a team?
