This is a part time position, 20 hours a week.

Description:

This position is for a Merchandising associate who would be the liaison between an eight store chain and the company on Oahu. It is a part-time position with flexible hours that involves travel to each location every other week. The right person would be working to ensure that the products and the assortment are kept up to standards as well as to address concerns from the store's management and department heads. Working to adapt to the uniqueness of merchandising stores is important. There would also be special projects and resets to do as needed (new products added and/or category resets). This person is instrumental to the growth and standing of the company and it is important that they have the aptitude to work independently and take direction remotely.

Qualifications:

A background in retail and/or selling, including merchandising, preferred

Product knowledge of plumbing or the ability to learn it

Ability to work independently and take initiative on what needs to be done at the store level

Aptitude in generating relationships with key personnel

Product knowledge or the ability to quickly learn it.

Verbal and written communication skills in reporting needs, concerns, and recommendations

Responsibilities:

Listens to and responds knowledgeably and promptly to store management and department heads by communicating questions/issue with the company

Develop rapport with store management teams

Identifies damaged or missing signage, displays, and collateral and orders replacements in accordance with Plan-O-Grams

Sorts products in bins, peg hooks, and boxes to ensure that they are in the proper location

Confirms that product pricing information is visible and clear and resolves/replaces any missing pricing labels

Audits items as needed to ensure stock through use of store's vendor portal and reports discrepancies with store management and the company.

Inform store associates of benefits, applications, and usages for new products added

Work on special projects and category resets as needed

Down stocks as needed to ensure visibility of products

Reviews, completes, and enters completion details (when, what, amount of time spent, taking and uploading photographs to confirm servicing completion, etc.) for all assigned merchandise reset, service, and maintenance tasks

Verifies buyback items and ensures they are pulled, prepped, and ready for shipping
