Adventist Health Castle (AHCS), in beautiful Kailua is assisting a well-established, community-based hospitalist group, proudly serving Windward Oahu for over a decade, recruit a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Internal Medicine Nocturnist. Incumbent will join a collaborative and collegial team dedicated to high quality care, on a part-time basis. Ideal candidate will be team-oriented, compassionate, dependable, have experience with diverse patient populations, and possess a love of local culture, and community. Previous hospitalist or nocturnist experience preferred. If you seek a long-term rewarding hospitalist role with a flexible schedule, this could be an ideal career opportunity. Candidates must be Board Certified or Eligible, Hawaii licensed or eligible and meet the hospital’s medical staff credentialing standards. Position Highlights Flexible part-time schedule Up to eight shifts per month Shifts are 7 pm - 7am Average six admissions per night and cross cover for 50-60 patients on average Critical care unit coverage and procedures includes intubation, running codes & central lines Must be comfortable taking care of critically ill patients EHR is Cerner Competitive Compensation Board Eligible or Certified required Independent contractor model About Us Live and work in a community that is home to world-renowned beaches, scenery, and year-round outdoor activities.
