Avis Budget Group is seeking a dedicated Inter City Fleet Driver/Transporter to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of vehicles between our locations to meet the high standards of availability and readiness for our customers. As a key player in our transportation operations, you'll handle a variety of vehicles, ensuring they are delivered safely and punctually, aligning with Avis Budget Group’s commitment to outstanding customer service and innovation in mobility solutions. Safely transport vehicles between various service areas and rental locations. Ensure timely delivery of vehicles matching the fleet management schedule. Perform basic maintenance checks, including fluid levels and tire pressure before transit. Document vehicle condition reports and mileage logging. Assist in vehicle preparation and presentation according to company standards. Adhere to all company policies and local traffic laws. Coordinate with logistics team to optimize transportation routes. Proficient in driving multiple types of vehicles, including cars, SUVs, and vans. Strong geographic knowledge of the local and surrounding areas. Effective communication and time management skills. Basic mechanical skills to perform maintenance checks. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance 401k Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is preferred but not mandatory.
