Position Summary Description:
The Talent Acquisition and Retention Manager develops, leads, and
implements enterprise-wide efforts for recruiting talent,
performance and development programs, and retention activities.
This position will align and improve recruiting and retention
strategies using a data-driven focus to create a strong employment
brand. Conducts full cycle recruitment and sourcing using industry
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Provides expertise and guidance to business units to develop talent
sourcing strategies. Research and implements recruiting programs
focused on attracting top talent including building a pipeline of
qualified candidates. Conducts full cycle recruiting (post, source,
prescreen, schedule, background, reference, offer, HR onboarding,
etc.) Develops appropriate position specific marketing strategies,
defining metrics to minimize overall time-to start and
cost-per-hire. Maintains effective relationships within the
organization and the hiring community to have influence and impact
in recruiting and hiring process. Manages vendor service-level
agreements, billing, and discounts to ensure high quality and
effective service for the organization. Ensures all employee
engagement programs are efficient and effective for workforce
retention, promotion, and succession planning. Continuously
improves recognition programs including coin spot awards, service
awards, and quarterly employee recognition. Creates new
opportunities to engage employees through technology, external
partnerships and customers, and performance rewards. Performs a
variety of tasks associated with the administrative support of the
Human Resources Department. Keeps abreast of benefits and
compensation plans with designated business unit. Consults with
managers and supervisors, providing HR guidance when appropriate.
Supports HR department with HRIS system including access for end
users and proper training for leaders. Performs similar and related
duties as assigned by supervisor. Uses the Company's Mission/Vision
Statements and Core Values as their guiding principles.
Education/Training and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent
experience. Minimum of 3 years of experience in recruitment and
employee relations. Working knowledge of multiple human resource
disciplines, including recruitment, compensation practices,
organizational performance, employee relations, diversity,
performance management, and federal and state respective employment
laws. SRHM-CP or SHRM-SCP or PHR or SPHR Certification preferred.
Must possess a high level of verbal and written communication
skills. Must possess exceptional people skills. Must maintain
confidentiality and integrity of all sensitive data. Must be able
to demonstrate proficiency will all Microsoft Office applications
(Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
