Your Role
As a Restaurant Executive Chef, you will promote excellence at a Neiman Marcus restaurant by building a professional team, driving top-tier food experiences, managing catering and special events, and overseeing key restaurant initiatives. You will work on-site and report to the Restaurant General Manager.
What You'll Do

• 
  
• Monitor and document daily food inventories to minimize waste and control costs.
  
• Maintain all health and sanitation standards as directed by Neiman Marcus, health departments, and auditors.
  
• Update the recipe book daily with specials, soups, and menu items.
  
• Coordinate with front-of-house staff to fulfill guest requests and complete orders.
  
• Create daily specials and instruct kitchen stations accordingly.
  
• Order food and supplies in line with corporate contracts.
  
• Communicate with management regarding scheduling, financial reports, and upcoming events.
  
• Participate in staff meetings and provide updates.
  
• Collaborate with People Services on coaching, training, payroll, and benefits.
  
• Keep menus current through ongoing learning and research.
  
• Oversee menu pricing to maintain set profit margins.
  
• Support associate development through feedback and conflict resolution.
  
  What You Bring
  
  • 
    
  • 4-6 years of relevant culinary experience.
    
  • Recommended: Culinary degree.
    
  • Proven track record of achieving business results.
    
  • Experience leading and motivating teams.
    
  • Basic financial understanding.
    
  • Knowledge of service order procedures and proper table settings.
    
  • Ability to stand, bend, climb stairs, and lift up to 35 pounds.
    
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
