Overview
The Area Director of Human Resources is expected to influence and
partner with senior business executives worldwide to ensure the
talent pipeline is best able to support the objectives of the
business and the organization. As a critical member of the
leadership team, the ADHR must collaborate with the business to
ensure that organization is creating an environment of high ethical
standards, strong governance and compliance mind-set, and open
communications that support the organization's core values. closely
with the senior leadership team on human capital related resources,
activities, trends, and initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Lead a transformational HR organization built on openness,
transparency, and meritocracy that initiates and develops excellent
relationships with key line executives. Develop a strong
understanding of the organization's key business drivers and the
dynamics of the business.
- Capability to manage multiple hotel locations in accordance to
Company demand.
- Demonstrate a strong results-orientation and ensure an
environment of high standards for performance, where team members
feel valued and respected. Build and shape a "best-in-class" human
resources organization - a lean, but highly valued function with a
talented bench and team organization.
- Establish and implement HR initiatives that effectively
communicate and support the organization's vision and strategic
direction. Develop HR plans and strategies to support the
achievement of the overall business objectives.
- Identify coaching opportunities for executive, management, and
employee development.
- Build succession plans.
- Champion and articulate Communicate why a specific change
initiative is important for optimal success within Highgate.
- Develop and support strategies for recruiting, hiring, staffing,
training, developing, integrating, assessing, motivating, and
retaining skilled talent across the corporation.
- Create and implement practices that establish and maintain high
levels of team member engagement and commitment. Employ processes
that ensure that behaviors inconsistent with the values of the
company are dealt with in a professional and diplomatic manner.
- Lead an HR function that promotes the alignment of workforce
performance with corporate objectives; optimally delivering support
through the use of technology and business partner mentality;
understanding employee concerns through employee surveys and focus
groups; and, educating employees regarding changes in human
resources policies and benefits in support of improving
organizational effectivness.
